Infant,
youth, and children's programs provide opportunities
for blind and visually impaired children and their families to interact
and have fun while learning new skills. Activities include Summer Camp, the School’s Out Program,
Parent-Infant meetings, the annual Beeping Easter Egg Hunt, Teen
Enrichment Program, and Saturday recreation activities.
Therapeutic Recreation
programs for the blind and visually impaired include an on-site fitness
facility, swim lessons, art and cooking classes, monthly tandem bike
rides, field trips, animal therapy, dance classes, camping trips, and other fun activities.
Residential
Services including the Lighthouse Living
Centers, Deaf-Blind Group Homes, and Daily Living Skills
Instruction provide independent living options and skill
training for those with vision loss, and 24-hour assistance and skill
training for the deaf-blind and multi-handicapped.
