Lighthouse Education Programs include the Computer Learning Center, the Technology Training Unit, and The Lighthouse Braille Department, all of which focus on assisting blind and visually impaired individuals with finding employment.

Community Services  includes such activities as adult day care, volunteer programs, recreation programs, low vision clinics, summer camps, and residential programs.  All activities are designed to help visually impaired individuals regain independence and become active members of their community.

Outpatient Rehabilitation programs provide information and counseling on an outpatient basis to blind and visually impaired individuals.  Programs include Diabetes Education Services, the Lighthouse of Houston Vision Rehabilitation Clinic, and family, individual, and group counseling.

Reflections, the Lighthouse Store, is a specialty store for people with vision loss.  The store offers adaptive aids such as talking clocks, Braille watches, mobility canes, computer hardware and software and hundreds of other items.  The Catalog of Visual Aids, which describes the various items available at the store, is available on-line.
