The Lighthouse offers volunteer opportunities for every schedule. Some activities such as home visitors require a weekly commitment; others such as special events are as flexible as once or twice a year. In addition to working with individual volunteers, the Lighthouse works with schools, churches and community groups to arrange special volunteer opportunities for their members. All volunteers are required to complete an application and to attend orientation. Volunteers are a vital part of the success of The Lighthouse of Houston.
