The Program Supervisor Assistant’s primary duties are to provide care that is safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and client-centered, service planning, assessing, reviewing case progress, implementing, monitoring and evaluating actions required to meet the client’s Health and Human Services needs.

Health Services Manager

Health Services & Reflections Retail Store

Job Summary: The Health Services Manager will be a part of the Lighthouse of Houston management team. This position supervises the day-to-day operations of the Low Vision Clinic, Behavioral Health staff, Reflections Store, and the Administrative Assistant located at the front desk. Lighthouse of Houston team members must be comfortable working with people with disabilities, specifically people who are blind or have low vision.  The Health Services Manager must lead by example, and lead with humility, trust, and respect.  It is important for individuals to be committed to continuous learning environment and a champion for change, with a teamwork mentality.  Collaboration with Lighthouse of Houston’s departments, as well as the medical community is an essential component of the position.

Direct Care Worker

Assisted Living and Deaf/Blind Program

Job Summary: Providing individualized assistance of daily living skills to blind/visually impaired, deaf, multi-handicapped adults residing in our Assisted Living Facility and Day Programs.  Direct Care workers must lead by example, and lead with humility, trust and respect. It is important for individuals to be committed to continuous learning environment and a champion for change, with a teamwork mentality. Low Vision OD, Contract Position

Vision Rehabilitation Clinic

Job Summary: The Low Vision OD will be a part of the Lighthouse of Houston team, focusing on providing a client-centered approach to developing a treatment plan and providing education, tools, and resources to assist individuals with vision loss. Lighthouse of Houston team members must have experience working with people with disabilities, specifically people who are blind or have low vision. The Low Vision OD must lead by example, and lead with humility, trust, and respect. It is important for individuals to be committed to continuous learning environment and a champion for change, with a teamwork mentality. Collaboration with Lighthouse of Houston’s support departments, as well as the optometry community to promote the clinic is an essential component of the position.
